The belt is composed of graduated scalloped medallions connected by jump rings, with a beautiful twisted rope tassel fringe drop at the center front. The maker's mark — a stamped cartouche on the reverse of the central medallion — is consistent with Fishel, Nessler & Co. markings. One of the round medallion links shows a repaired solder joint, noted for full transparency; the repair is structural and the belt is wearable.
