A beautifully crafted antique brass clock base featuring a domed profile with richly engraved foliate and scrollwork decoration around the skirt and a refined beaded edge detail. Three mounting holes on the top platform allow for secure attachment of a clock movement or dome, and the underside retains its original brass feet posts and what appears to be a maker's mark (1259 III).
