Antique Victorian Pressed Glass Perfume Bottle with Diamond Lattice Pattern and Faceted Ball Stopper
Charming, detailed, and wonderfully Victorian — this antique pressed glass perfume bottle is a lovely example of late 19th century decorative glassware. The squat cylindrical body is richly decorated with an all-over diamond lattice and floral medallion pattern in the lower half, separated from the smooth shoulder by two horizontal ribbed bands that give the bottle a beautifully structured, layered profile.
The bottle rises to a frosted glass neck with a flat disc collar, topped with a spectacular large faceted ball stopper — a multi-faceted sphere that sparkles brilliantly and is considerably larger than the bottle neck, creating a wonderfully top-heavy, jewel-like silhouette. The glass has the characteristic subtle warmth and slight irregularities of antique pressed production.
