A handsome early 20th century gentleman's grooming relic — a nickel-plated metal case by the AutoStrop Safety Razor Co., New York, U.S.A., embossed on the base. AutoStrop was one of the most innovative razor companies of the pre-Gillette era, known for their self-stropping razors and elegant accessories.

The lid features a beautifully engine-turned ribbed pattern with a central oval cartouche — a hallmark of quality men's accessories from the 1910s–1930s. Open it and you're greeted by a vivid purple silk lining in the lid, still intact and striking against the aged metal interior. A small brass latch clasp secures the case.
